Hey, we know this might be a long shot asking for strangers to help or care, but we figured that we would try as a last-ditch effort to keep us from becoming homeless.

So, I start my job on December 1st, but the crisis at hand is we were a bit late with our monthly rent for the place that we currently reside. Due to the failure of the staff to get me in touch with the manager, who is now currently trying to kick us out by December 1st, we are expected to leave within a few days.

We didn't sign any documents that said if we were late or were informed on a verbal basis that if we were ever late, that would have been grounds for them to give us a 5-10 day notice at our extended stay and for us to leave within such a short time frame, given that we do have a child and it's getting considerably cold here now. Anything helps, even if you share and this reaches the people that can provide some type of financial help in this time of need.

We have possibly found a place to live; it's just about coming up with the funds needed to move since I haven't started my job yet. We weren't expecting this at all because we have been working and living here for the past 6 months
