The situation in Sri Lanka is desperate, requiring urgent assistance for necessary basic food and medical supplies. Hospitals there are getting overcrowded and COVID patients being left in the hallways, with critical shortage of oxygen supply threatening their life.

With the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic now threatening with the variants, Eekai Foundation wants to provide immediate relief assistance:

Eekai Foundation is a non-profit organization aimed to unite those who believe in humanitarian assistance for the needy.

So, this is what Eekai proposes for assistance on an urgent basis:

-Dry food for those who have lost their income during COVID-19 and the poor vulnerable populations. We have successfully completed our first COVID food relief effort early this year. We would like to assist them again in this to boost up their immunity to fight/prevent Covid 19 infection.

-Infrared thermometers, and pulse oximeters for early monitoring at home and intermediary facilities. We will also try to supply a few high budget oxygen concentrators for the intermediary hospitals for early treatment.
