THEIR STORY!
As many of you know Ed McFarland was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer and is undergoing chemo treatments every 3 weeks for 6 months while lasting 6-8 hours per each session. Originally, Ed and Jess were under the impression he would be receiving 6 weeks of chemotherapy and then Ed would be on his road to recovery with a promising outcome. They have recently learned he will require 6 months of treatments and has already been out of work for over 7 weeks. Even with insurance, many of you are well aware there comes the costs of co-pays, travel costs and lost wages which continue to add up for both Ed and Jess. Let’s help Ed and Jess worry less about the financial burdens and more about his health and their family.

Asking for help is hard for both Ed and Jess; they both are hardworking people and would do anything for anyone. Ed is a fighter and tries to keep a positive outlook on this devastating news but as one who’s dealt with a heart wrenching diagnosis as this, you can imagine not only the physical toll it takes on someone but the emotional toll and how it affects the whole family and community as well.
