HELP KEEP OUR KIDS IN SCHOOL!

Hey everyone,

So, I'm reaching out with something I really hoped I wouldn’t have to ask for. Last term, I mentioned to a few people how we were struggling to cover our kids' school fees here in Uganda. To my surprise, so many of you offered to help and suggested I start a GoFundMe page. I resisted at first, but I've come to realise that sometimes you just gotta swallow your pride and ask for a hand when you need it.

We've just finished the end of this term, with two more terms left in 2024. We're not sure how long we'll be here, but securing education for Adam, George, Tallie and James for the rest of this year would be an enormous relief. Let me tell you, finding the right schools for each of them was a real struggle, but we're happy with the choices we've made so far.

Last year was rough - the kids missed a tonne of school due to recurrent scabies and money has always been tight. But education is non-negotiable for us. It's our top priority, even if it means asking for help.

If we can raise enough to cover roughly £3750 for the next two terms, it'll take a massive weight off our shoulders. It'll give us the breathing room we need to focus on other important things, like sorting out our ongoing commitments here and finalising the adoption process.

We're grateful beyond words for the support we've received so far. It's not easy for me to ask, but I'm reminded that people genuinely want to help when given the opportunity. This isn't about me - it's about giving our kids the best shot at a bright future.
