Last night during our drive to the Atlanta, GA date of the Original Sin tour, our van began to make weird noises, and we lost all acceleration, and only had RPM which is a clear sign of transmission issues. We pulled the van over to the side of the road and had no choice but to push it for 2 miles along the highway, finally making it to a gas station. We were lucky enough to get the van towed to a mechanic who told us our transmission is in terrible shape, and needs to be repaired, which in turn is leaving us stranded in a gas station in Florida with our trailer full of gear. With the transmission being in its current state, and theamount of money it will take to get it repaired, the fact is we are extremely low on funds. This is a huge hit finically that none of us are able to afford, and just to start the work will cost upwards of $1500 and will increase from there. This van is our only way home, our only way to finish the tour, and our only means of transportation, any and all help will go a long way.
