Hi, my name is Tracie Armstrong and I am raising funds for the devastating condition motor neurone disease. My best friend Joanne Ralphs was sadly diagnosed with this horrendous disease 2 years ago. Jo is one of the loveliest, kindest, generous people that that you will ever meet. Jo has been married to her husband Paul for 29years and they have 2 sons, Daniel who is 25 and Matthew who is 18, she is also a loving daughter to her mum Ann and her dad Denis. Jo and her family are not just our friends, we are more like family and I think of her as more of a sister. Throughout this terrible time, Jo has been so brave, it truly is heartbreaking to see her suffering in this way, knowing that there is nothing that you can say or do to make it better. That is why I have decided to fund raise, it makes me feel that I am in someway helping. It is shocking that so little has been invested into research into this cruel, devastating disease

Jo was a dedicated employee for Aneurin Bevan and worked for the NHS for almost 30 years, very sadly she had to retire with I'll health earlier this year, this broke her heart, as she loved her job.
