Fight for Finn

Finnegan is a 7 year old Shetland sheepdog and one of the feistiest, funniest, fluffiest dogs in the world. On Sunday evening, Finn underwent an emergency splenectomy due to a splenic hematoma that ruptured, he was in critical condition before and during surgery but pulled through with the help of a blood transfusion and his amazing team at VEG. Unfortunately he had a reaction to the blood he received during surgery which cause a systemic inflammation in which his body started attacking the blood and his organs started to shut down. At this point he is still in very critical condition and requires additional hospitalization to medically managing all of his damaged organs and get him over the hump. At this point the financial burden is significant and we are asking any for assistance from our family and friends at this time, I know it’s a difficult time of year with the holidays approaching for everyone but any amount can help. If anyone knows us Brown’s our animals are a part of our family and we would do anything for them. We truly can’t imagine our lives without our sweet Finn Finn and need your help to continue his care and give him his best shot.
