Warrior William

March 2022 our lives changed forever!
William started having migraine headaches, and after a routine eye exam and scan William had a major emergency brain tumor surgery and was in the ICU for an aggressive fast growing undifferentiated sarcoma cancer in his brain.

No child should have to go through what William has been through since that day but William is such a strong sweet boy who is one of the most empathetic kids in his class. He is always worried about the wellness of others and loves his family, basketball and superheroes!

 

After 2 rounds of chemo the tumor GREW and we were devastated. Thank god after rerouting treatment for his 3rd chemo round and after half of his proton therapy complete at Cincinnati children’s Williams tumor has shrunk and we are so thankful!

Thank you to Williams favorite Hero Uncle Jerri for coordinating with both Local 668, the Professional Fire Fighters of Durham and Local 526, Lexington Kentucky Professional Firefighters and sponsoring William for a SHAVE A THON where friends and families will get to sponsor firefighters shaving their heads,beards and ‘stashes for William we love you all!

Everything raised will go toward the remaining medical and travel expenses for William as he fights for his life through the last half (15)of his proton treatments. Let’s GO Warrior William!
