2025 Run for REACH!

On Saturday 17th May William (8) and James (6) will run the 2025 AJ Bell Junior and Mini Great Manchester Run for the first time! They are excited about the event (mostly about meeting the gladiators at the start line!) and want to raise funds for REACH, which is a small charity that raises funds to support the care and education of vulnerable children and families in Uganda.

They want to raise £300, as this will pay for 3 months running costs for the 'Joy of Play' project. This project provides a playgroup twice a week for a group of pre-school age children living in one of Kampala's slums. These children are the most vulnerable in Uganda's society, never receiving 3 meals a day and having no access to toys of their own. The REACH playgroup provides a safe space for them to play, sing and access food away from the dangers of slum life.
