It weighs heavy on our hearts to come on here to tell you guys and ask you to pray for us and if you can help us out financially. In early November, we noticed a couple of small tumors growing on Pablo but due to our financial circumstance, we were not able to take him in to see the vet until late December. In that short amount of time, one of the tumors has grown rapidly since we discovered it. Our vet kept us hopeful about the tumor but after sending in samples to the lab, luck was not on our side and the vet informed us that Pablo did have a cancerous tumor growing on his body. This news has weighed heavily on our family. Pablo is very loved and we always try to do what we can for pups . Our dogs are family. Pablo has been a huge part of our lives since we adopted him back in 2016 from Oakland Animal Services in California. Since Pablo has been with us, he’s helped us get through some big hurdles that included the tragic death of a parent, career changes, and a big move from California to Florida.
As mentioned, Pablo has a few tumors that are cancerous and need to be surgically removed. One of the tumors and the most dangerous one is on the lower part of his stomach and we need to get him treatment as soon as possible before things get more complicated. In addition to surgery, Pablo will have to undergo chemotherapy and remain on medications until the cancer is gone. Pablo is still a young, lively pup that enjoys going on long walks, tons of chicken, and hanging out with his brother, Dusty. We feel that Pablo still has a lot of time left on this Earth and we want him to be able to enjoy it. But more than anything we want to do everything we possibly can to be able to save his life. We never ask for him but we know we won't be able to get through this financially without help from all of you guys. 100% of the money raised will go to Pablo’s cancer treatment and future vet visits if we exceed our goal.
