Sarah's Breast Cancer Treatment.

great news today! Her cancer we was not seen in any other area except for breast and nodes. Treatment should start within the next 2 weeks

Sarah has spent the least few days having more tests, one more to go this morning then back to Oncology for these past Results on Monday

I have started the transfer process already so some money has started going to Her already.

Hi Everyone, Our Cousin/ Sister/ Niece/ Daughter has just been given the hard news that she has been diagnosed with an Invasive Ductal Carcinoma of the breast. Sarah is only 43!!

It's a Very aggressive tumour, currently Stage 2, but She is also needing further testing to see if it has spread elsewhere as Lymph nodes are already involved.

Sarah was a local to Tanilba but moved to Shoal Bay a few years ago after separating from Her Husband.

Sarah has a mortgage and bills and as a single Mother of 2, her treatment schedule will not allow her to work as often as she usually would.

Sarah worked at CTC smoke shops in Tanilba and Salamander for many years before going into Aged Care Support Work.

I'm sure most of you know her smiling face!

We are asking if you can support her with funding her treatment and ongoing costs involved while fighting this disease.

Any amount is perfect, even just sharing this post will be a huge help.

Sarah is looking at 6mths plus of Chemo starting next week, 4 days each week for the first 8 weeks, then 3 x weekly for 12wks of another Chemo, then surgery, Radiation and likely more Chemo afterwards.

So treatment will likely last a long time.

Sarah is now having brain scans, MRI, Pet scans and Genealogy testing over the next 2 days. As you may not be aware, We carry a high risk of Breast cancer in our family.
