My Family in Ukraine

To all my family, friends and co-workers, you know that I am not the kind of person to ask for help often. I have had so many of you reach out and ask me what you can help with, with the war in Ukraine. So I decided to create this account to help my family currently suffering with the war in Ukraine. As I am writing this I can’t hold back tears, just trying to imagine what they are going through at this point in time. I check on my family often and I hear many terrible stories of their daily sufferings, bombings near their homes in small rural villages, lack of food, no medicine, the daily fear they live in is their real reality. Some of my relatives are actively trying to help people by providing shelter and transporting them to safety. Some of my younger cousins have tried to escape Ukraine into Europe and other countries and are having a really hard time getting on their feet, others can’t leave Ukraine for multiple reasons. I have 250 plus family members in Ukraine who are doing their best to survive and help other who are suffering the consequences of this war. They are asking for financial assistance for basic necessities like food, water, and medicine, as well as further financial support with shelter, supplies, evacuations and immigration travel that will be needed in the near future. 100% of the funds raised will go directly to my family in Ukraine who can get some relief and help others.
