Help Brenda Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

Hi everyone, this is my Mema, Brenda Conard. She is a widow from Fletcher, NC. She, (like so many others) has been devastatingly impacted by hurricane Helene. She left her apartment after the creek by her complex started to rise Thursday evening, only to come back to see the entire community immersed in 6 feet of water. Her apartment was totally flooded and she has lost everything she owns. She is starting from scratch.

She is in need of so much, but simple things like hygiene and personal care products are what she needs right now. She will also need to find a new place to live. Unfortunately, her insurance will not cover this. I know a lot of people are asking how they can help, and this is a tangible way to help provide for someone in need.

Almost everyone we know has been drastically impacted by this hurricane in our mountain town. Please keep WNC and the surrounding areas in your prayers, as this is nothing like anything we have ever seen before. We are grateful that she is alive and well, but starting over at almost 75 years old is unimaginable. Let’s help her in any way we can! Any amount helps.
