Funeral Fund for Michael Knecht

This week, a  family grieves the sudden passing of a loved one, Michael "Mikey" Knecht. I cannot begin to tell you how devastated his family is. Mikey is loved deeply by his family and friends. He touched many with his gentle manner and kind spirit. The day before Mikey passed, he was all about a fund raiser for a local child who had a chronic illness. That was Mikey. He put others before himself.  He was also a member of the Charles County community. He was a chef that graced Casey Jones in Laplata, MD for years with his culinary skills. From there he went on to delight patrons at The Blue Dog Saloon, in Port Tobacco, MD, with his talent. Mikey had a passion for his art, but nothing can surpass the love he had for his family and friends. Unfortunately , Mikey had no life insurance. The cost of laying his earthly vessel to rest will be insurmountable to his family. It's a hardship they should not have to bear. Please show your love to Mikey and his family.
