Waynette McMillen's Passing and Gabby's Future
Hi,
My name is Lisa and I have started this fundraiser for Gabby McMillen.
As most of you know, our beloved Waynett unexpectedly passed away August 21, 2021.
Waynett leaves behind her 15 year old daughter, Gabby.
We would greatly appreciate anything you can donate to help Gabby with her current and future needs.
We would also greatly appreciate if you can share this link on all of your social media pages.
Waynett was loved by so many and losing her so unexpectedly has hit home with all of us.
We want nothing more than to lift Gabby up and give her all of the opportunities Waynett would have.
All funds donated will go directly into a bank account set up for Gabby, governed by her direct guardian.
We thank you for taking the time to honor Waynett and Gabby during this very difficult time.
Below is Waynett's obituary:
On Saturday, August 21, 2021 Mary Waynett (Nett) McMillen, went to be with Lord at the age of 47. Her spirit is carried on through her only child Gabrielle “Gabby” McMillen.
Waynett was born on February 6, 1974 in Conroe, Texas to Harold Wayne Brown and Sheila (Yost) Brown. She attended school in Cisco, TX and graduated from Warren, TX. She proudly served in the United States Navy and after her service, she received her cosmetology license, furthering her career as a licensed instructor.
She married Tom McMillen and together, they had a beautiful daughter, Gabrielle. Waynett loved Gabby with her whole heart and she was always her entire world.
She had a passion for helping others and her heart was as big as her humor. She accepted people without judgement (one of her greatest qualities) and Gabby was always quick to remind everyone not to mistake her Mom’s kindness for weakness. She was tough on the outside but had a heart of gold. She passed on so many of her wonderful qualities to Gabby, who will carry them for a lifetime.
Waynett leaves behind her beloved family: daughter Gabby, parents Wayne and Sheila Brown, sister Michelle Binger and her husband Fred, sister Rachelle Childers and her husband Shane, nieces Haley Childers, Ashton Gregg and her husband Clay, great niece Harper Gregg and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. She also leaves behind a circle of close friends who she loved and adored.
The family service will be Saturday August 28th at Dannel Funeral Home in Sherman, Texas from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
A celebration of life will immediately follow at Modern Exploration 4900 Texoma Parkway Sherman, TX 75090.
In lieu of flowers, an account has been established for her daughter Gabrielle McMillen at First United Bank. Donations can be mailed to PO BOX 1234, Sherman, TX 75090
