Hello everyone,

If you haven't heard by now, I am donating a kidney to my coworker's husband on Sept. 11th. This has been an exciting process and we are eagerly awaiting our upcoming surgery date. I will be out of work for 6-8 weeks for recovery, and while there is a fund to help offset my lost wages, it falls slightly short of my normal income. We are asking for donations to help cover the difference for those 2 months; any money beyond our goal of $1000 will be donated to the American Kidney Fund .
