Sara Needs Our Support.
Donation protected
My brother-in-law, Neal Wayne Grant, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep at the young age of 60 on Sunday, 4/6/25. He was always smiling, supportive and selfless. Cracking jokes and being a prankster. One of the good guys. He was the primary financial support for his wife, Sara and this fundraiser’s purpose is to help her with expenses and bills so that she can stay on her feet until she figures out how to move on without her best friend and soulmate ❤️
UPDATE: Today was tough for Sara. I think the reality of the situation is finally hitting her. Wayne’s youngest daughter, Alisha and her husband, Justin helped us move her and Wayne’s camper over to a new site - one in the water where Sara and Wayne loved to stay together. Also we were able to secure a private room at a restaurant for his Celebration of Life. It was challenging to find a space down here that wasn’t absurdly expensive. Cindy, Wayne’s sister sent me a bunch of photos so we can get started on a photo slideshow for his Celebration of Life. I posted a few of them in this update. Sara is dumbfounded by all the support and donations from family and friends. Thank you all for your generosity during this life- altering experience ❤️
UPDATE 6/6/25 …
With immense help from Wayne’s daughter, Alisha, Alisha drove Wayne and Sara’s RV up to Beavercreek, Ohio with Wayne’s Ford Ranger. The RV has been parked in my backyard now for just over 3 weeks. Luckily, I live in a county that allows that and fortunately Alisha thought nothing of driving it and Wayne’s baby, Darla, up safely over a two day trip by Herself. With some adapting, Sara has been slowly moving forward, gaining support from friends and others up here and I’ve seen her confidence improve, although she is still incredibly sad and humbled. She is doing well overall and I am proud of her determination to live past/ through this tragedy. She and I want to thank all of you and her supports for helping her deal with this awful situation. She and I could not have made it to this point without all of you.
