Hello everyone, I am fundraising on behalf of my dad, Wayne.
 On February 8, 2024 everything has changed for my dad and my family for the worse. Doctors have discovered 2 tumours in his brain and needed immediate surgical attention to get them removed. He was healing great in hospital, doing physio and rehab everyday to get ready to be discharged home. Unfortunately, on February 29, 2024 the worst news possible has been informed to us. Those 2 tumours that were removed are cancerous and have spread from his esophagus and lumbar spine. With this type of cancer specifically for Wayne, it is super rare, aggressive and is stage 4. The doctors have said there is no long term treatment locally for his case, as it has already progressed and advanced to other areas in his body. The only possibility for any treatment is in out of province/country. However, this is a very expensive cost and isn’t something we can dish out of our own pockets. This fundraiser is to help cover any travel expenses, living expenses and medical expenses for him during the difficult time.

 Wayne is a very strong, kind, courageous man who is willing to do anything for anyone without a favour in return. He has been through every obstacle and challenge since February 8th 2024. and continues to battle through each day.
