Wayne's Toughest Match

Wayne Stewart, the widely respected and admired owner of Greenville Tennis Club (GTC), is fighting the toughest match of his life. He was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in Spring 2018. He underwent a series of cancer treatments and experienced renewed health. However, unfortunately, Wayne experienced a sudden reoccurrence in December. Therefore, many of you in the community are likely unaware of their current plight.
As small business owners, their insurance benefits have been limited, and they’ve had to utilize savings to cover the extreme cost of Wayne’s treatments. He and his wife, Sherry, are private, proud folks who’ve always publicly focused on their club members and students. They’ve been shouldering this burden on their own and have been very reluctant to seek any assistance. We’re asking the community on their behalf, to help raise $75,000 to support Wayne’s continuing medical treatments and related expenses. They urgently need YOUR help to achieve this goal. As they continue to fight this battle, this wonderful family needs the community to rally around them.
In Greenville, Wayne and Sherry have created a legacy which nurtures a love of tennis, character building, integrity, and respect (especially among their junior tennis players).
