Wayne Parker’s recovery
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Zara Parker. Monday August 22nd 2022 my husband Wayne Parker and I went for a bike and skateboard ride. Wayne fell off his skateboard and hit his head on the pavement. He has suffered a moderate to severe Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). He has spent 5 days in the ICU at UC Medical Center. From there he will move to a lower level of care within the hospital. He will need further care with inpatient rehabilitation, meaning we do not know when he will return to work. I do not know what the final cost of these services are but I know it will wipe out everything we have. As his wife and caregiver I will need to be a constant presence in his rehabilitation, meaning I also will not be working. Wayne has touched many peoples live and is a beloved family member, friend, and tattoo artist. He has been a tattoo artist for over 15 years and is, in my biased opinion, one of the best tattoo artist I have ever seen. Our community is strong and the love and support has been amazing so far! If you do not have the means to donate, your thoughts, prayers, and good vibes are just as welcomed!
All money donated will be used to help maintain our household during this time, either medical bills or household bills. This way I can focus on assisting Wayne’s rehabilitation. I appreciate everyone who take the time to read this and share/donate.
