Wayne Kuchtyn's Farewell

Donation protected
Wayne passed away today May 3rd, 2018. He has been by step dad for as long as I can remember and writing this isn't something that comes easy. He is very loved and this loss was very unexpected for my mom and I. Now that he's gone, my mom and I are struggling to figure out how we will be able to manage giving him the funeral he deserves while also bearing the financial hardships of the sudden loss of a loved one.

Many knew Wayne from his automotive work. He had his own company, Headwinds, where he built race car engines, helped people with various car problems, or from the time he spent teaching at Votech. He always loved working with cars and teaching anyone that was interested about them. Wayne served with the Dearborn Police Department as an Auxiliary Officer. He volunteered his free time and in doing so helped keep our community safe. He moved his grandmother in with us when she was no longer able to live alone, my mother and Wayne took care of her around with clock until she passed a few years ago.  Wayne loved the outdoors, he went fishing or boating at any chance he had, he even planned to move up to Oscoda with my mom in 2021.

Wayne spent a great deal of his life helping and teaching others. We are asking that you donate what you can, so that we can help send him off the way he deserves. Money raised will go towards funeral expenses and any left over will go towards paying bills and debts that have been left for the family.
