Remembering Wayne (aka Mr. Gamble)

Hello friends & family,

As we're all still in shock by the sudden passing of Wayne, we're hoping to lighten the financial challenge for his wife, Stacy, and help with medical bills and memorial expenses.

Wayne was a beloved teacher, a brilliant musician, and a member of several local bands - besides his love for Stacy, music was his life through and through.

To his students, Mr. Gamble was not only their music teacher but also their life teacher. The students loved him for his goofiness and the ways he could draw on trivia and pop culture to make connections with them and get them to open up and flourish as individuals.

To Stacy, he was the life partner she’d been looking for and had hoped to grow old with. Wayne absolutely adored and was completely entertained by Stacy. This was clear every time he lovingly responded “Stacy Willis” to one of her shenanigans with a little head shake and that big Wayne grin.

Ernest Wayne Gamble lived a full, creative and artistic life in his short 51 years, bringing love, kindness, and beauty into the world. He will be missed dearly, but we can all be comforted knowing that his legacy of love, music, and creativity will live on in so many lives.

Your generosity is graciously appreciated. Funds will go toward medical, memorial, and Celebration of Life expenses with any remaining donated to one of Wayne’s favorite charities.

A celebration of Wayne's life will be planned in the future.
