Wayne County Dog Shelter Fundraiser

Hello!

My name is Halee and I recently became a volunteer groomer for the Wayne County Dog Shelter. I was blown away at the kindness and compassion of the staff and volunteers despite the number of dogs they care for every day. The dogs I have groomed were severely matted when taken in requiring complete shave downs to give the dogs relief. Funding is very tight at the shelter and my hope is to personally raise enough money for them to have a grooming table on site for volunteer groomers and staff to provide the necessary TLC for these dogs as well as money towards a bathing station (they currently do not have a tub). Their hope is to eventually build a wash station open to the public for additional revenue but the funding just isn’t there for that right now. I appreciate any consideration and promise to put these donations towards equipment at the shelter to make these dogs feel and look their best in hopes that they can all get adopted!
