My name is Tamyra Bober and I am posting this request for financial assistance for my brother-in-law, Wayne Bober (whom I’m sure many of you know) and his family. On August 26, 2025, Wayne had a terrible accident when he fell 11 feet from a ladder, which resulted in a severe spinal cord injury and three broken lumbar in his back. Unfortunately, Wayne is now a paraplegic (paralyzed from the waist down) and is confined to a wheelchair.

The family home is not handicap or wheelchair friendly and will require substantial modifications/changes in order to accommodate access and mobility with a wheelchair. In order for Wayne to be able to remain in the family home and be as independent as possible, he and his family will require a significant amount of funds to create an access/exit point that is wheelchair accessible, a bathroom and bedroom that are wheelchair accessible, a vehicle that is wheelchair accessible, etc.

This was an instantaneous, horrible accident/tragedy for the family and many people know that Wayne (having been a mechanic for many years) has always been someone who would never hesitate to help others with vehicle issues and was always one to offer a hand when he could when someone had a project of any kind to tackle.

I have never posted a request for financial assistance for anyone like this before, but this great family is seriously in need of help and I hope that many of you will give generously to help them out in this time of need.
