Our family is going through an unimaginable time after our sweet 5-year-old nephew was seriously injured in a sledding accident. In just a moment, a joyful winter day turned into a frightening emergency that no family ever expects to face.

He suffered a concussion along with multiple facial injuries, including fractures and damage along with more injuries that required immediate medical which has been especially scary for all of us. Seeing such a young child endure so much pain and confusion has been absolutely heartbreaking.

Right now, he is surrounded by love as he begins the healing process, but his recovery will take time, careful monitoring, and continued medical care. His family will be doing everything possible to support him emotionally and physically as he works through this difficult journey.

Along with the emotional toll, the financial burden will be large. Hospital stay, medical tests, specialist care, and time away from work from immediate family will add stress during an already painful time. I created this GoFundMe to help relieve some of that burden so his family can focus fully on helping him heal.
