As many of you know, we recently relocated to California and with that major life transition our dog, Waylon, developed some anxiety that caused us to have to seek veterinary assistance shortly after arriving. In the process, we discovered that his lymph nodes were swollen. After resolving the anxiety symptoms with medication, the lymph nodes did not improve and a needle biopsy revealed that it was lymphoma.

Waylon healed very nicely from his anxiety and has really settled into his new lifestyle, making human and dog friends, alike. He is happy, excited to go on his walks, doesn't want to come back inside, and is continuing to have a healthy appetite. Our goal is to give him the best health he can have with the time he has left and our veterinarian continues to insist that the Madison Wisconsin Protocol for canine lymphoma is the gold standard course of action. He would receive weekly treatments for several months and there is an 80-90% chance of achieving remission with minimal side-effects. Without any treatment, our time will be very short. Unfortunately, our new California living expenses will not allow us to provide this level of treatment for Waylon.

We know that God is always good and that His will prevails. We are beginning an at-home treatment plan today that will, hopefully, slow the progression of the disease.
