With a heavy heart, I am here to say my family and I are grieving deeply. My 11-year-old nephew, Waylen Anthony Wealot, just passed away from a tragic gun accident. He was visiting his father in Tulsa, Oklahoma for a few weeks when this occurred. With these current circumstances, my sister must pay for transporting Waylen’s body back to Nebraska and additionally costs for funeral expenses.

Waylen was born on March 21, 2014 and he has brought purpose and joy to not only his mother’s life but his entire family and friends. He enjoyed his farm animals, and especially loved his dog, Oreo. He had a gentle genuine spirit, who could light up a room easily. He was looking forward to enrolling into St Paul Public School in August and being around his friends and learning.

I know this is a big ask, but my family is struggling financially. And this was an unexpected cost in addition to July’s rent, recent car repairs, food, etc. Life is difficult enough, without tragedy. Please support my sister, Izzy, in this time, the funds will go directly to her for these expenses.
