Introduction and background
Over 35 years cultural dance theatre and contemporary dance. Choreography and Director for productions in South Australia and Victoria, international touring of works. Dance and cultural educator having led ongoing workshop programs in Schools throught Australia regional and remote first nations communities including APY lands SA, Pilbara WA, Tanami Ti Tree, Galawinku, Daly River, Gunbalanaya NT, led dance training for Kurruru performing arts, Faces of Youth Arts Whyalla.

Throughout Nikki’s career has always been the desire to return to her home country on Guuranda land and provide a teaching/training program for first nations young people as a career pathways program. Having founded various companies, worked independently as well as events for community and festivals. Nikki is the key person to establish such a program on Guuranda (Yorke Peninsula) South Australia.
Based off the Kurruru performing arts model and NAISDA dance training as an example of the modules to be explored as part of the training.
Key classes and scheduling
Programs will run as after school into evenings, weekends and school holidays. Designed for ages 8-11 years youth group and 12-17 years seniors.

Tuesdays -Contemporary dance 1) 4pm-5pm
Tuesdays -Contemporary dance 2) 5.30pm-6.45pm
Wednesdays-Commercial dance 5pm-6.30pm
Thursdays-Theatre 5.30pm-6.30pm
Saturdays
Physical theatre/circus 2.30pm-4pm
Creating a versatile program provides opportunities to expand skills and create employment opportunities for local teachers/instructors.
There is a long journey ahead, but I am committed to making this a fulltime program with the funds to assist in providing creative arts opportunities for 30 First Nations young people ages ranging 8-17years.
Transport to/from sessions x 4 days week.

Out source teachers to travel from Adelaide-Port Victoria return, plus wages
