What can be said about this young family man... gone entirely too soon.
Marcell Johnson, 30 years old, was abruptly taken from us tragically by a senseless act of gun violence on August 29, 2022, in the Chicago Uptown area. There are no words to describe the loss of Marcell to our family. Marcell was a great father, a loving husband, son, brother, family member and friend. As the primary provider, he selflessly cared for his wife Jalanni, the love of his life and their son Marcell Jr who will soon be 1 1/2 years old
We, the family of Marcell Johnson, have been overwhelmed with the kindness, outpouring of sympathy, love and support we have been receiving. So many have asked how they can donate or assist, so I have set up this GoFundMe for those wishing to help the Johnson Family.
Your support, whether large or small, will help offset unexpected expenses and additional short and long-term hardships tied to unexpectedly losing a husband and father. Jalanni and our family are heading into a very long healing process.
Any contributions will directly assist Jalanni and their son moving forward. They will need all the support possible for their uncertain future.
