Waves of Healing for David Lubrano Jr.

Pontcha Surf Club, a passionate community committed to harnessing the therapeutic power of surfing while promoting a vibrant surf lifestyle that is deeply rooted in local culture. Our mission is to foster a sense of belonging and well-being through the joy of riding waves and the expression of art in everything we do.

This GoFundMe has been created in memory of David Lubrano Jr., whom was a member of Pontcha Surf Club for many years to better maintain his sobriety, a core component of PSC’s movement. Surfing to David, was a life giving breath in many ways. During his time on the water, he was able to find community with other like minded individuals, all searching for this same goal. Furthermore, the challenges he faced (and overcame) on the water were directly linked to the same successes he was able to achieve in his personal life.

In lieu of flowers, we are graciously requesting that you consider offering a donation in David’s name to Pontcha Surf Club, so that they are able to continue their mission of sober surfing, while also further emboldening the legacy of that David leaves behind.
