WAVE (We All Value Each-Other) of Thorntown

WAVE is a non-profit, after-school program benefitting students in the Western Boone school district. This community-based organization provides fun activities, life-skill lessons, homework help and healthy meals in a safe and supportive environment two days a week. Students learn to live the meaning of WAVE (We All Value Each-Other) through the executive director's and volunteers' love, care and guidance.

WAVE relies on donations, grants, fundraisers and monthly commitments to support its programming, meals and activities. The organization is launching its second matching-grant fundraiser Nov. 29, 2022, (National Day of Giving) with a goal of $5,000. The campaign will conclude Dec. 31, 2022.
