Kevin Slaybaugh Memorial Fund

Waukee Youth Football’s founder, Kevin Slaybaugh recently passed away. The Slaybaugh family would like to place memorial benches at Waukee High School and Waukee Northwest Football Stadiums to commemorate his contributions to the community.
Kevin was the founder of our organization, served as President and was a board member for 17 years. He was a coach, friend and mentor to hundreds of kids and coaches, and was a driving force in the creation of the Mid-Iowa Youth Football League. Coach Kevin selflessly committed countless hours to the best interest of the players and making a positive difference in their lives.
Any remaining funds after placing the memorial benches will help finance the WYF Kevin Slaybaugh Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is awarded annually to a Senior Waukee Youth Football player at both Waukee High School and Waukee Northwest High School.
In addition, please share with friends, family, past league members and all others that would be willing to help this cause.
