Watson Calhoun

About 3 weeks ago Melissa took Watson to the after hours clinic for what they thought was strep throat. After following up with his pediatrician and still treating his symptoms for strep, he continued to still complain about his head hurting. Melissa and Casey both agreed they needed to take him to the hospital so she took him to Our Lady Of The Lake Children’s in Baton Rouge. After some scans and blood work they were told he has a big brain tumor in the back of his head and it’s also on top of his spinal cord which is causing spinal fluid to build up on his brain. They also said they do not know what type but by the looks of it, she’s pretty positive it’s cancerous. This sweet and innocent baby boy came into this world as a FIGHTER only weighing 3lbs and 14oz!

Watson is being transported to St. Jude in Memphis today (1/22/23) with a LONG road ahead of him. I set this GFM up to help take some stress off Melissa since she’ll be missing lots of work and the bills continue!
