DiFonte Family Fire (Watertown, MA)

Hi Everybody,

On Friday, August 26th, amid treacherous thunderstorms that swept through Watertown, MA, the DiFonte family suffered the unimaginable loss of their home when flames broke out on the top floor due to a lightning strike. At this time, the DiFonte’s do not know about this fundraiser as they are not the type of individuals to ever ask for any help. However, as friends of the family, we only see fit to help them out in their time of need because they have always been there for us.

Thankfully everybody and their family dog were able to get out safely from the fire, but at this point, the house is being considered a total loss due to the extent of the damage.

Though insurance will help in the long run, the family is now faced with immediate costs such as replacing essentials. Any amount will help and is greatly appreciated and will go directly to the family as they must now take on the tumultuous process of grieving for what they had and begin the journey of rebuilding their lives and home.
