Help the Waterton Glacier Peace Park Assembly

Hi, I am Ed Handl, Planning Chair for the Rotary clubs from Butte, Townsend and Helena Montana, who are hosting the Annual Assembly of the Waterton Glacier International Peace Park Association, to be held September 19-22 at the Glacier Park Lodge in East Glacier Montana. We are raising funds to help defray costs associated with the venue, speakers, youth attendance, activities, and Assembly arrangements.
- Since its dedication in 1932, following legislation passed both by the U.S. and Canada, Rotarians from Districts surrounding the Peace Park meet annually to celebrate the peace between Canada and the U.S. and the longest undefended international border on Earth. This celebration of peace inspires other peace parks and peaceful borders among nations, while promoting peace worldwide. Since that first dedication, over 138 peace parks now exist worldwide. Your donation of $10, $20 (or more) will help us to increase that number, and assist in our quest for Peace.
