Waterhouse Building Fire relief for Keith Huntley
Donation protected
This is an emergency fund to help one of the residents, Keith Huntley, who lost everything in the fire at 22 Brighton Ave on June 5th. He is currently without a home and has only the clothes and toiletries that were generously donated by a community member, so we're looking to raise enough to help him secure housing, clothes, medicine, and ultimately everything else needed to make a life over from scratch (from spoons to a bed to a radio to a jacket).
I'll update this page as his needs become clearer, but really wanted to get something going sooner than later so that we can put our grief to action, even if only a few dollars at a time, and help a community member in need during this grim time of global fear, national turmoil and personal challenge.
As things develop/I get more information, we may merge this fund to benefit all tenants, or set up separate accounts for anyone else who okays the help. New to this platform and still figuring out how it works, as well as where the need is and for whom!
