Final Push: Help Us Finish the Waterbury Center Skatepark
Less than a year ago, this community helped us raise over $10,000 in honor of our friend Ryan Yacavoni to make the Waterbury Center Skatepark a reality. That generosity got us off the ground — and construction is now underway at Hope Davey Park.
We’re down to the final stretch: just $5,000 more will bring this project across the finish line and allow us to open the park this November.
What’s new:
*We now have a rendering of the memorial bench and plaque that will honor Ryan. A date for its official unveiling will be announced soon.
*Local press has shared the progress: WCAX story and Waterbury Roundabout coverage
*More details and updates are posted at ww.waterburyskateparkvt.org
A lasting tribute
The skatepark will give kids, teens, and adults in our area a safe, creative, and fun place to skate, ride, and connect. It also stands as a lasting tribute to Ryan — someone who believed deeply in community and in getting outside together.
How to help
Every gift, no matter the size, gets us closer to our goal. Please consider contributing and sharing this with friends and neighbors. Together we can open the Waterbury Center Skatepark this fall.
We are so appreciative of the support we’ve already received. Thank you for helping us honor Ryan’s memory and for being part of this community effort.
