Hurricane Ida wreaked havoc in Louisiana, where water outages and power outages are the primary threat, and the death toll is continuing to rise.
We were heartbroken to see the damage and utter destruction caused by Hurricane Ida. In response we have decided to help supply clean water to residents of smaller towns in Louisiana. People usually focus on the larger cities and we are working to assist the smaller towns of Reserve/LaPlace which are located in the St. John the Baptist Parish.
The most recent update from St. John the Baptist Parish
"Due to damage sustained by Hurricane Ida, the LaPlace water system is suffering usage and mechanical issues.
Water pressure is slowly building in LaPlace while Utilities works to repair water leaks. The entire Parish is under a Boil Water Advisory."
People are waiting in line for HOURS just to get water to survive!
HELP US RAISE FUNDS TO SEND 1 TRUCKLOAD OF CLEAN WATER TO LOUISIANA RESIDENTS IN NEED!!
OUR GOAL:
Our target is to send at least one truckload of water to serve families in the towns of Reserve/LaPlace, Louisiana. We have a warehouse to store and a network to distribute the water to the communities in most need quickly. We will first distribute to seniors, then do pop-up water distributions throughout Reserve/LaPlace and other marginalized communities in heavy demand.
THE BREAKDOWN:
The cost is $10k (nonprofit rate) for 23 pallets of water. There are eighty boxes on each pallet which equals 1,840 boxes or 4,858 gallons of water. Each family will receive four boxes; together, serving 460 families.
FIRST DELIVERY:
The first delivery is set to run on Monday, September 13, 2021, to the St. John the Baptist Parish Emergency Distribution Center.

We have the ability to supply a truckload of water to these areas with your help. Please donate what you can so that we can help people get the resources they need. Extreme heat combined with lack of water is a recipe for disaster! Your support can help
us save lives!!
