Water Well for our Grandmother Said Bi

AsSalaamuAlaikum  We are fundraising to make a water well in remembrance of our beloved grandmother Said Bi. She lived a very long, blessed life and passed away at the age of 99! She has left behind 3 generations of descendants (ages ranging from 1 to 83). So we have made this page to make it easier for all of us to come together and do something meaningful for her. We chose a water well as the project because of the following hadith: 1) On the authority of Sa‘d ibn ’Ubadah (ra) who said, ’I asked, “O Messenger of Allah! Which charity is best?” He [saw] replied, “Providing water”’. (Ibn Majah) 2) On the authority of Sa‘d bin ’Ubadah  that he said, ‘O Messenger of Allah! Umm Sa‘d has died, so which charity is best?’  He (saw) replied, ‘Providing water’. So Sa’d dug a well and said, “This well is for Umm Sa‘d”. [Abu Dawud] 3) When a person dies, all their deeds end, except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge and a child who prays for them.” (hadith of the Prophet ﷺ, narrated by Muslim) Ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah) is one of the most valuable acts we can do for our grandmother. As she will rewarded for every sip of water InshaAllah.
