Hi, my name is Rob and I’ve been working in the water industry for most of my professional life. I have always wanted to make a

difference to people who have no possibility of storing - using clean water.

My first breakthrough came with my invention Lifestraw (www.lifestraw.com) The simple way this item is used can protect 100’s of 1000’s of people who collect unclean water from all kinds of sources.

However, the bigger problems lie with the contamination from water devices when carrying large quantities of water from the exit/well/faucet to the point of use.

This brought me to the development of my company Aquaid ApS

based in Denmark.

The AquaidH20 water holder carriers are made with a closed system covered by a screw-on cap thus making it virtually impossible for hands to enter and contains the content of the container.

AquaidH20 offers light weight, flat, foldable strong bags, which weigh no more that 150 grams average. Any volume can be made but we prefer to offer 10L and 15 L due to the end weight ease of carrying.

AquaidH20 also offers a smaller 5L bags which are handy to hang close to outdoor toilets. Washing hands is the start of hygiene and

to prevent the contamination of drinking water.

We call this container “Safehands”.

Once the water has been used in any of these containers, they can be cleaned using Chlorine tablets. These tablets can also be useful to sterilise water when they have been filled from a non sterile or unclean source.

Currently the most used containers are buckets which are open to unhygienic hand contact and used jerry cans which can harbour all kinds of virus. Both these methods are voluminous and impractical, also hard to carry. They can easily crack with the weight when dropped.

As a small private company, which is totally self financed, it is very hard to scale up and enter the vast world of business/aid. So I am reaching out to you, to help me make a breakthrough.

Wars and earthquakes are good examples, and if I had the means and a supply, I would have contacted all charities to offer these bags to help save lives.
