Cooling Aid for Lahore’s Heatwave Victims

Growing up in Pakistan, I experienced firsthand how intense the summer heat can be. Now living in the US, I often find myself complaining about the weather, but I realize how fortunate I am to have access to central air conditioning everywhere I go. In Pakistan, many underprivileged families in Lahore face extreme temperatures without any relief, making daily life especially difficult during the hottest months. Temperatures are reaching as high as 115 degrees, and sadly, people are dying from heat stroke.

This project is close to my heart. My family and I are working together to install water misting fans for 50 families in Lahore. We will personally handle the installation to ensure the fans reach those who need them most. These fans will provide much-needed comfort, helping families bear the intense summer heat and improve their quality of life. Last year, we were able to successfully install coolers for 10 families — and this year, with your support, we hope to make an even bigger impact.
