Water for a village in Amoanda, Ghana

Donation protected
While on a recent trip to Ghana, I had the opportunity to visit the small village of Amoanda on behalf of my non-profit, 64 Reasons Foundation. We went with the intent to distribute t-shirts and soccer balls for the children.

In meeting with the village elders, we learned the water situation in the village is a real problem. There is one small tank to serve the entire village for all their needs, and the tank is filled inconsistently, only once every 60 or 90 days. This is not enough for the people in this village.

The solution is simple - install a borehole to extract water from the ground. The expense would be around $2000. I am reaching out to ask you to give whatever you can - every bit counts. $2000 is not much and I know we can come together to provide the people of Amoanda with much-needed water.
