He should’ve been playing with toys and trying on the new clothes his parents bought him for Christmas. Instead, on that holiday afternoon, Jaxson suffered the tragic sudden death of his mother.

Within moments his entire world changed forever. If you’ve ever experienced the sudden death of a parent then you know the shock and trauma that reshapes your entire life. A part of your identity is lost. Your childhood is stolen. Everything you imagined for the future feels unknown.

Jennifer was more than a loving and supportive mother. She dedicated her life to being Jaxson’s teacher, role-model, and guide. She homeschooled Jaxson through his current eighth grade year. She worked tirelessly to raise him to be the bright, high-potential young man he is today. Jennifer’s dream was for Jaxson to continue his growth in education and baseball to prepare him to become anything he chooses to be. She was so supportive of his success that she derived her pride from his accomplishments, knowing she gave her best to him in every way she could.

Her commitment to his future is the legacy she leaves behind and as her life was tragically cut short, it’s now up to us to show Jaxson the support and security he needs for his future.
