Watch for Motorcycles - an angel was on my side

Watching for Motorcycles should be taught to our children!

My name is Sabrina and I am setting up this page to help out my dear friend/family due to a motorcycle accident that almost took his life. Thankfully my friend Corey is still with us today, but his left leg is now amputated.

Corey is a loving father, hard worker in the construction field, and he’s the type of friend that will always bring you up when you are down as he is quick-witted.

Corey was side swiped on the 23rd of September while riding down a two lane road. He was hit on the left-side of his motorcycle and left to bleed out. Thankfully there was a vehicle a few minutes behind that stopped and became his angel. During those few minutes left by himself, it had to have been the scariest thought, thinking that no one would help him. The angel that did stop to help him was an EMT off shift and knew exactly how to keep him alive. If just a few more minutes had past Corey would not be with us today.

Corey has been in the ICU in Ocala, Fl for the past couple days and they were unable to keep his leg. Because of the angel that helped him he is alive with us, but because of the vehicle that hit him he is now an amputee for the rest of his life.

I created this page not only to help my dear friend Corey (as we all know bills don’t stop coming in), but to also spread awareness to everyone out there that taking your eyes off the road just for a minute can have the biggest impact on someone else’s life and change it forever.

Any donations from this page will be used to ensure Corey and his family still have a roof over there head while he is in the healing process. As well as pay for any other expenses such as co-pays for medication, food, gas, etc… till he is back on foot and able to return to work.
