My name is Nélia de Sá, I am 19 years old, and the writer/director of Wasting Time, a student short film at Vancouver Film School.

We are raising funds because this film is important to us as young filmmakers who came to Vancouver from all over the world to become professional storytellers.

Wasting Time - Synopsis:

Estranged childhood best friends Rosalie and Adrien find themselves just outside of their respective friends' wedding reception. From small talk about how each of them knows the couple and whether they're enjoying themselves, the conversation turns to their history and Rosalie's sudden departure without a goodbye three years ago. She apologizes and he admits his own fault for never rekindling their friendship, eventually revealing to have felt more than just resentment.

The funds we raise will go directly toward the essential costs of making the film at the level it deserves. Every contribution will help us improve the quality of the film and make it stronger for festival submissions.
