WASSA WASSA African Dance & Drum Festival 5-8th September 2019

Soriba Fofana from Guinea, West Africa hosts the 6th annual WASSA WASSA Festival in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico this fall. Join the celebrations at the Railyard Performance Center with an abundance of classes in dance, drum and song from Guinea, Mali, Zimbabwe, Haiti and a performance by the finest dancers and musicians in the nation. WASSA WASSA ~ happiness, children, joy, family and community ~coming together to share the spirit and love that is..... Each year this unique cultural event is made possible by the generous contributions and support from local organizations and our fantastic African dance & drum community. Without your dedication WASSA WASSA would not be what it is today ~ Join us to reach our goal of $1500 which will help secure air travel within the US for five guest teachers to join us in Santa Fe this September......
