My teacher nominated me to be in a program called JrNYLC (which stands for Junior National Young Leaders Conference). I was so happy and excited, because for this program you have to meet in Washington D.C.
I have never been to Washington D.C. and I really want to go. I want to make a difference in the world and encourage others to become leaders. I love leading and I believe that this oppurtunity could change my life. The only downside to this trip was that there were two problems.
1. My parents didn't feel safe with me flying by myself and being alone (parents are not allowed to go).
2. The trip costs $2,200 without the cost of the flight to get there (that is a lot of money for a one person trip to Washington D.C.).
Luckily, my friend decided to go with me, but there is still one problem...
The cost.
I would love if you could donate some money, any amount is appreciated! The money will go to pay for the trip and the flight.
