Support a baseball player, provide a hope pack.
Donation protected
Hey there!
The Washington Panthers 8U baseball team is taking the field with Midwest Food Bank to raise money for the team while also providing hope to those students who need additional support.
How can a baseball team provide hope?
Midwest Food Bank has a fantastic program called Hope Packs. Hope Packs contain five core items: an individual warm meal (mac and cheese, ravioli), a breakfast meal, fruit, a granola bar, and a snack. By bundling donated, child-friendly, shelf-stable foods and supplementing with purchased foods, they provide a consistent Hope Pack for children in need.
The Goal
As a team, we're looking to raise funds for some of our costs for the 2023 baseball season, but we also want to provide two Hope Packs for every player on the team. That would put us at a total goal of $1200 ($100/player) for the team and $1200 ($100/2 Hope Packs) for 24 Hope Packs. Once we reach our goal, the boys will have the opportunity to present the money to Midwest Food Bank and spend time as a team putting together Hope Packs for local kids.
Be A Part of the Team
We'd love for you to be a part of our team by supporting us for our 2023 baseball season, but more importantly, to provide a fundamental need to 24 children with Hope Packs through the incredible resources and opportunities from Midwest Food Bank.
