Washington Express prepares to leave the station!

Hello everyone,

In 2019 I was fortunate to graduate from the Bluegrass, Old-Time, Country and Celtic music program at East Tennessee State University.

As many of you know, I've been blessed to pull together a group of amazing musicians and a wonderful sound engineer (all ETSU folks!) so that I can share some of my music in the wider world. My new recording, Washington Express, has already been released on streaming platforms. A project like this requires a substantial financial commitment. I'm so fortunate to be much of the way there and now the final phase is getting the music in the hands of listeners and radio stations. This includes printing and distributing CDs, as well as publicity.

I know you may be thinking, "Who even listens to CDs these days?" That is a frequently asked rhetorical question. Actually, they almost function like a sonic business card, allowing an artist to, "put themselves out there", in a more concrete way. A CD also feels more special being that it is a personal possession with just a little bit more dimension than just a lifeless piece of cardboard.

I'm reaching out to all of you to ask for your help to get this project across the finish line. My goal for this fundraiser is $2000. A contribution of any amount would be a huge help. In addition to the enormous satisfaction of knowing you're supporting the arts, I will send you an autographed CD by March 2024 for contributions of $30 or more!
