Hi, my name is Vicente Ortiz, and I am a first-generation college student at Mesa Community College, where I completed my term as Student Body President this May. As a result of my leadership experience and community involvement, I was recently accepted to the Leadership and American Presidency Program sponsored by the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institute. I will be enrolled in courses at George Mason University and participating in an internship for 8 weeks. This is my first trip outside of the southwest, and I am very excited for this unique opportunity to build my network and expand my professional interests. I am creating a GoFundMe to gain a little financial support for this trip. I will use your donation to assist in the costs of airfare, local travel, tuition/books, and food while I am in D.C.
